ABOUT
ABCD Competition
At ABCD Competitions we like to give everybody the chance to showcase their talents. We specialise in Inclusion and Diversity and believe anyone and everyone should have the opportunity to perform on stage without judgement. This competition is all about fun, friendship and pure enjoyment.
We are not your usual dance competition, we run in house competitions throughout the day
We specifically designed this competition to accommodate people with diverse disabilities, all sensory needs will be met and accommodated for.
We would also love to invite smaller dance studios who are just beginning their dance competition journey, as the minimum number for a group is only 4 competitors.
ADJUDICATOR
Irene Broom
Irene has been dancing since the age of three. Starting in Ballet and Jazz and then branching out into Contemporary, Commercial, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. She has successfully completed her Advanced 2 RAD Ballet exam and has also completed her Royal Academy of Dance Teaching Certificate.
After falling in love with Contemporary dance, she auditioned successfully and accepted a place at Queensland University of Technology studying for three years and graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance).
She completed a full time dance course with Global Dance Pro in 2022. She danced in the AFL Grand Final half time show and has been in filmclips for Sheppard. She loves inspiring children and passing on the knowledge she has learnt.
